The saddest thing* about tonight is that I’ve always had the hope that at some point people will realize how messed up the right’s agenda is and will want to reverse our country’s direction. But after four years of perhaps the worst leadership in the history of our country, you have to wonder. Where’s all this support coming from? Maybe our country is just that far to the right. I hear people on the radio say they are voting on “moral issues.” Then I think, “Yeah, I know. Me, too.” Then they continue to say they are voting for Bush. What? Moral? Who? HIM? His policies? His platform? His actions? I just don’t get it.

*Yes, even sadder than the fact my home state is 75% in favor of banning gay marriage. I mean, c’mon. Who would vote for such a silly piece of legistation?
