Happy new year. I hope everyone had a good new year’s eve. Heidi and I spent it with our friends, Jonathan and Juliane. It was a pretty low-key night, but that we exactly what we wanted. I’m not sure if there’s anything better than ringing in the new year with good friends and being able to wake up the next morning without a hangover. After a mere four hours of sleep we still managed to find the energy to ride with our bike club. We spent this evening preparing some raw meals for the week (more on the raw food thing later) and I’m now just tying up some loose ends before I hit the grind tomorrow. (Ugh. I hate going back to work after a long, relaxing break. But, that’s the way it works so I guess it’s better to smile rather than cry about it.)
