After some gnashing of teeth I was finally able to get my domain name transferred over to my new host. Unfortunately, it seems like the database schema for WordPress 2.x is different than it was for 1.5. So, my old content is stuck in a *.sql file at the moment. I’ll try to get it online as soon as I figure out a way to get it imported (probably by hand). I’m also experimenting with some new themes so the look might be in flux for a while.
In other “hosting” news we’re officially in escrow on two fronts — one for the sale of our place and the other for the purchase of a place. We’re still working with the seller on some repair issues (more on that later), but hopefully we’ll be able to come together on the deal. Much more info to come on this latest adventure.
Other than that I’ve just been busy working and training for the upcoming cycling season. I’m going to try to ride five double centuries this year, which sounded like a good idea a couple months ago. But, with work and our housing project, finding the time to train has been a bit difficult. My first one is this coming Saturday so we’ll see if I’m in good enough shape to finish it.
