I took Holly (Heidi’s sister), Toby (Holly’s husband), and Espen (their little boy) to the airport this morning around 5:00. They were here since Thursday night, but it seemed like they were here for about 20 minutes. It was the first time I had ever met little Espen. He’s totally cool and is a very good kid. He’s only 15 months old, but he’s so big and well-behaved that he seems older. It was sure great to meet him. And, like all the other times we’ve hung out with Holly and Toby, we had an awesome time. Toby helped me do some stuff around the house because, unlike me, he’s extremely handy. Heidi and I have been trying to get two new phone lines put into our offices and have been having a very hard time finding someone who could do it. On Saturday morning Toby came up with an idea on how we could add the lines and run the wires from the garage into our offices. After about 90 minutes of work we had two new phone lines in our offices. It’s amazing what kind of stuff lights your fire when you get older.

It seems like after every time we hang out with Holly and Toby I feel like moving to Grand Forks. I guess the thought of living in a small town, being closer to friends and family, and perhaps leaving a bit of the rat race behind is pretty appealing. Spending quality time with people whom you wish you could spend more time with tends to bring these feelings out, I guess. At any rate, it was a really good visit and I’m looking forward to seeing them again soon.
