grand tour [4 of 5]

I rode the Grand Tour double on June 23. The route started in Malibu and wound its way up to Ojai. There was plenty of climbing (I did the highland route, which has around 8500 feet of elevation gain) and lots of great views. Awesome support as well. Unfortunately, I wasn’t in the best form — I think spending the week in Las Vegas at the HP Technology Forum might not have been the best preparation. But, I made it and was able to ride the whole thing with my friends Mike and Bob.

So, four down and one to go. I’m thinking about the Solvang fall double, which should be a good challenge.
