I’ll try to write a more detailed post tomorrow, but I just wanted to let everyone know that we’re doing fine. (In case you’re not sure what’s going on, San Diego county is on fire.) We did get a “reverse-911″ call around 3:30pm today, saying our area was in a voluntary evacuation area. However, I think it was more of a CYA precaution than an actual evacuation recommendation. Nevertheless, we’ve got most of our pictures and important files staged in our cars and are ready to pull the plug on our computers and get the cats loaded (not in that order) if we get the call to evacuate. Right now it’s just windy, dry, and smokey. More deets as we have them.
