I just finished adding a bunch of old content to my blog. I changed hosting providers a while ago and the transition was less than seamless. The version of WordPress I was on was ancient and I wasn’t really able to automate the content migration. So I had to bring up a copy of the old site on one of my local Linux boxes and copy/paste the content over. Kind of a nightmare. I’ve been doing a couple posts here and there over the past year or so, but this afternoon I finally buckled down and knocked out the last couple years.
My oldest entry is from May 7, 2002. I guess that means I’ve been blogging for around 7 years, which is kind of neat. Anyway, the point of this post is that after looking at all of the old stuff I realized not only how different my life has become, but just how different the world has become. It will be interesting to look back in another 7 years and see how things have changed.
